PASTOR LEARNING COMMUNITIES

Pastor Learning Communities are groups of 5-6 pastors (or pastor couples) who gather once a week for 5-6 weeks to discuss a book together. This is for lead pastors, staff pastors and spouses. The purpose is twofold:

  • To continue to develop in our ministry and spiritual life.
  • To build community with fellow Open Bible pastors for mutual encouragement, support and prayer. We will all be going through the same book at the same time!

In our  last  PLC we  went through the book "Grace/Truth 1.0: Five Conversations Every Thoughtful Christian Should Have About Faith, Sexuality and Gender" by Preston Sprinkle.  In our final gathering, Lou Phillips from The Center for Faith, Sexuality and Gender joined us via Zoom.
